What is secondary drowning? I read the blog shown below and was terrified… I immediately knew that we HAD to post this as our next blog. This mother explains what happened to her son one seemingly normal Saturday afternoon. After turning her back for a second, Lindsay found her son struggling to keep his head above water… although the entire episode was maybe 20 seconds at most, and her toddler seemed 100% fine following the scare… he nearly died many hours later, in his bed, with no water around… due to drowning, secondary drowning that is.
